BROOKLYN Chocolate Factory - Loft III

In this former chocolate factory which was converted into residential units, a lofted platform was repurposed for bedrooms and storage areas. BLYTHE DESIGN STUDIO incorporated translucent walls, doors, panels and partitions to the platform structure so that natural daylight could reach the constructed rooms below the platform. Using frosted, instead of clear panels, allows softened natural light to filter into the partitioned rooms and provides privacy to the sleeping areas.
