BROOKLYN Chocolate Factory - Loft II
The crafty translucent wall
In this former chocolate factory converted into residential units, stands a uniquely crafted wall that does so much more than separate and support the built-in sleeping platform from the rest of the loft's 13-ft ceiling space. Frosted vinyl sheets riveted onto steel beams, create a textured translucent floor-to-ceiling sculpture that happens to be used as a wall. Elegant black steel open-flight floating stairs gracefully rise, suspended along the wall to the upper loft level.
